Privacy notice

In short

There is no account. Nothing you do, choose or type in this tool is sent to us or to anyone else.

What the tool remembers is kept in this browser, on this device. You can see it, save a copy and erase it.

What is kept on your device

The tool keeps four things in the browser's own storage on your device:

  • Settings: text size, contrast, the side of the controls, read aloud and its speed, the place marker, and whether the list of days is kept.
  • Last choices: the activity last chosen, the step last chosen for each activity, and the number of items last chosen.
  • What we practiced: for each day, the date, three counts and the names of the activities. You can switch this list off. Then nothing is added to it.
  • Items already shown: the identifiers of items that have appeared, so that sets do not repeat.

What we do not collect

  • No name, no email address and no account.
  • No record of what you practiced, which choices you made or which cues you asked for.
  • No cookies.
  • No advertising, no trackers and no scripts from other companies.
  • No analytics added by this version of the tool.
  • No sound is recorded and no picture is taken. The tool never asks for the microphone or the camera, and the site is set to refuse both.

Read aloud

Read aloud uses a voice that is already installed on your device. The words are spoken on the device. No text is sent to a speech service.

If your device has no voice of its own, read aloud is not offered.

What the hosting company receives

When a browser asks for a page, the company that hosts this site receives the ordinary technical record of that request, such as the internet address the request came from, the page asked for, and the date and time. This is true of every website.

That record says which page was asked for. It does not say what you did on the page.

The address of a practice set never carries your choices to the server. What you choose stays in the browser.

Not yet filled in. The name of the hosting company, and how long it keeps these records, are to be added here by the owner before this notice is published.

Pages kept for use without a connection

After your first visit, the browser keeps a copy of the pages and the practice items on your device, so that practice works without a connection.

These copies are the site's own files. They hold nothing about you.

Copies you save and pages you print

If you select Save a copy, a file is written to your device. If you print a set or the list, the paper is yours. We never receive either one.

If you write to us

If you send a message, we receive the message and the address you sent it from. We use them to reply and to look at the item you wrote about, and for nothing else.

Please do not put anything about a person's health in a message.

Not yet filled in. How long messages are kept, and who can read them, are to be added here by the owner before this notice is published.

Children

This tool is written for adults. It is not meant for children, and it collects nothing from anyone of any age.

Your choices

You can switch the list of days off in Settings.

You can see, save and erase everything the tool keeps on the page called Stored on this device.

Clearing this site's data in your browser settings also erases everything, including the pages kept for use without a connection.

If this changes

If accounts are ever offered, this notice will change before they are. Nothing will leave your device unless you have clearly agreed to it first.

Any change to this notice is listed on the page called What has changed.

Who is responsible

Not yet filled in. The name and postal address of the person or company responsible for this site, the date this notice takes effect, and any rights that the law of your state or country gives you, are to be added here by the owner and a legal professional before this notice is published.

Questions about privacy
